life is perfect

Even when life isn’t perfect, it’s beautiful in my eyes. I had a lovely time with this family but it was a challenging evening for them.

Their littlest one had so many expectations about what the beach was going to be like and it just wasn’t what she had hoped. It was sandy and wet and even cold that beautiful night. The ice cream was much more to her liking.

They had just arrived by plane from Texas. Everyone was on Central Time still and ready to call it a day.

Mom had a wonderful vision of her beautiful girls twirling on the beach in their matching dresses and it just wasn’t happening.

But, what did happen was life and a family together and everyone in their own way being a part of this experience. It was one of the most beautiful sessions I’ve photographed.
