We do a family photo every year on the pier. I usually have some stranger take a snap and end up so not thrilled with the crop (perfectly centered-including our heads). So, this year I decided to take the tripod down and set it up with the camera on timer mode so I could frame the shot with Cotton’s Point in the background.
Fail. I set it up on manual and got several great shots of us but they are all completely out of focus. We are definitely in relative focus to the background but not enough for my taste and not out of focus enough to look intentional!! But, I love the framing!
I did get some fun shots of the kids and Merrik even took a silly one of Dad and Maliea.
