We have been enjoying holiday festivities in both Coronado and San Clemente lately. The Christmas at the Casa was a “civilized” event for young and old and it was just the right amount of event for me. We are not fans of public gatherings that draw big crowds but the Casa Romantica is a special place and I thought it would be a nice way to celebrate. The building was built in 1927 as Ole Hanson’s, the founder of San Clemente, private home. It sits on a bluff above the pier.
The holiday event was heartwarming and festive. Trains, dollhouses, carolers, mulled wine and crafts. Both Merrik and Maliea enjoyed the trains the most and we had a hard time getting them to leave.
